She is a violist born in Spokane, Washington,
who studied at Boston and Indiana Universities. Since beginning her
career as an orchestral and chamber musician she has performed with
several orchestras and ensembles such as the Aire
Born Strings
, the Peaceful Valley Chamber
Players, the Ronen Chamber Ensemble, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and
Suzuki and Friends, was principal violist for the San Diego Symphony and is
currently a member of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. In her working in committees she
has been the Chair of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, representing it
at the International Conference of Symphony Musicians and she is currently
on the American Federation of Musician's Executive Board of Local 3. Veering away from classical music
she has appeared on may recordings made by the comedy disc jockeys Bob
& Tom who appear in their daily The Bob & Tim Show broadcast in
Indianapolis.
Recognised for her contributions to music and
education she won the Patch Leadership ward in 1997 and takes part as an
Artist in School and a "Side by Side" section coach in the educational
programs set up by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
