     Allyn, Jeffrey

    He is a tenor, sometimes known as Jeff, who was a member of The Philadelphia Singers during the 1980s and appeared on the 1987 holiday recording Gloria! Gloria!, where they accompanied Benita Valente and The Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia.

     

    Also during the 1980s he was very involved with the Academy of Vocal Arts and local opera and appeared in many of their productions such as Albert Herring and Madama Butterfly in 1985, L’heure espagnole, La Traviata and Death in Venice in 1986, The Threepenny Opera, Don Pasquale, Don Giovanni and Matteo Falcone in 1987 and L’elisir d’amore and Die lustige Witwe in 1988.
