    Ames, Ed (9th July 1927-Present)

He was born Edmund Dantes Urick in Malden, Massachusetts.  He was in a family quartet called The Urick Brothers with his brothers which was formed in 1947. He has appeared on many TV shows and was in 40 episodes of Daniel Boone as well as various films and then returned to singing.  In the 1960s he joined RCA Victor and had 4 Top 20 chart hits with them.  He appeared on Broadway in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and The Crucible and off-Broadway in The Fantasticks.  He had a famous interview with Johnny Carson where he demonstrated tomahawk throwing and the result was one of the longest laughs in the history of television.
