He is a violinist born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
who began performing as a child and was awarded a scholarship from the
Settlement Music School. He
took further studies with teachers that included Norman Carol who was the
concertmaster for the Philadelphia Orchestra and gave a solo performance
with that orchestra after winning a student concerto competition.
He took further studies at Dickinson College and performed
as a member of the Philly Pops and the Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra
Philadelphia.
In 1998 he became a member of The Philadelphia
Orchestra and held the position of Acting Assistant Concertmaster for their
2007-8 season. He has also performed
in several recitals and appeared as a soloist with the North Penn Symphony,
been the concertmaster for Pro Musica and performed as Second Violin for The
Academy of Vocal Arts, The Mendelssohn Club and The Philadelphia Singers.
He has also served on the faculty and staff of the
Strings International Music Festival, the NYSSSA School of Orchestral
Studies and Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance.
