    Apeldorn, Donna

    Actress and alto who trod the boards of the Opera Company of Philadelphia and the Temple University Opera Theatre in the ‘70s and ‘80s.  Roles she has performed include Bessie in Das kleine Mahagonny, Suor Dolcina in Suor Angelica, and Susanna Walcott in The Crucible.  She even played a chicken in Leos Janacek’s The Cunning Little Vixen.  In 1987, she appeared as a member of The Philadelphia Singers on their Christmas album, Gloria!  Gloria!.  She has also performed with the Bux-Mont Chamber Orchestra.
