Bladd, Stephen Jo (13th July 1942-Present)

He is a drummer, percussion and vocalist, born in Boston, Massachusetts.  In the mid 1960s he was a member of The Hallucinations along with Peter Wolf .  Around 1967 he joined the J. Geils Band and in 1970 they recorded their first album, which took just three days.  Their greatest success came in the early 1980s with hit singles such as "Freeze Frame" and "Centerfold ".  They recorded their last album You're Gettin' Even While I'm Gettin' Odd in 1984, which was to be their last recording.  He did not participate in their 1999 re-union tour but did perform with them at a function for Danny Klein , the bassist's, 60th birthday.  That was the first time the original members had performed together in 20 years.  He is now retired.
