She is a singer, writer and actress born Rebekka Ruth Lazone
Bramlett into a musical family where her parents were the successful
singing duo Delaney and Bonnie.
Seeing
her parents be friends and/or perform with artists such as George
Harrison
, Jimi Hendrix, Tina Turner and Eric Clapton, it seemed only
natural that he would move into a musical career and she is now a sought
after lead and backing vocalist.
Her debut in the recording studio was at the tender age of four when
she sang "California Rain" which appeared on her father's album Mobius
Strip, got a developmental deal when she was twelve and by the time she
was seventeen she was regularly recording, writing songs and touring. In the 1990s she took over from
Stevie Nicks in Fleetwood Mac and remained for them for several years appearing
on their album Time,
following which she teamed up with Mick Fleetwood in the group The
Zoo. Her reputation had grown drastically by this point and soon she
was singing duets, backing vocals and sessions for artists that
include Warrant, Jimmy
Buffett , Etta James, Dobey Grey, Sam
Moore, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, Kenny
Rogers
, Joe Cocker, John Waite, Belinda
Carlisle, Faster Pussycat and Faith Hill. Warrant also used her as the inspiration for their "32
Pennies" and she duetted with Sam Moore on his "Don't Play that Song (You

Made For Each Other" from the 1997 Excess Baggage and "Patient Heart"
that was heard in the 2000 Vertical Limit. Working on Broadway she has starred
in the musical Ain't Nothing But the Blues, which would earn itself
four Tony nominations including "Best Musical". Currently she is a member of the touring band for the
country singer Vince Gill.
