Violinist who attended the Curtis Institute of Music, the Interlochen Center for the Arts and the University of Michigan. Her teachers included David Cerone, Paul Makanowitzky, Ruggiero Ricci, and Aaron Rosandat. She was a member of the Columbus Symphony and joined the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1987.

Other groups with whom she has worked include the Boston Pops, the Cape Ann Symphony, Childsplay, Classical Tangent, the New England Philharmonic, the Renard Quartet, and the Sunflower Festival Orchestra.

In June 1988, she participated in the 2^nd Annual Sunflower Music Festival at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.

Her discography includes the Boston Pops albums America, American Visions, The Celtic Album, Chris Botti in Boston, Holiday Pops and A Splash of Pops, and the Childsplay albums Heaven and Earth and Waiting for the Dawn.

In December 2003, she took part in the 4^th annual Childsplay concert at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington, Massachusetts.

She also teaches at The Boston Conservatory and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Her students have included Michelle Binzel, Allisa Cheung, Susan Marie Holcomb, Loren Lee, Catherine Michelsen, Regie Pineda, and Michael Szeles.

On 9^th February 2005, she and pianist Miles Goldberg took part in a faculty recital at The Boston Conservatory which was committed to compact disc. Their program included Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Sonata No. 10 in G major, Op. 96”, selections from Astor Piazzolla’s “Histoire du Tango”, and Maurice Ravel’s “Sonata for Violin and Piano”.

On 27^th February 2011, Classical Tangent performed at St. Paul AME Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

A documentary entitled Fiddles, Fiddlers and a Fiddlemaker: Childsplay was released on DVD in 2011. It features interviews and highlights from a 2009 concert at Somerville Theater, which included fiddle tunes, rags, and works by Giovanni Bottesini, George Gershwin, and Giaocchino Rossini.
