He is a singer-songwriter, bass player, producer,
engineer, author and teacher who began his professional musical career when
he was 13 years old. He Became a member of the C.Y.
Walkin' Band who were given a recording contract with the Casablanca label
when he was 25, but deciding it wasn't for him he turned more to the
technical side of audio recording and went and got himself a degree in
electronics. Working
in either side of the business now he either performed or
engineered/produced for numerous artists and groups that include
Barry Manilow, The Beach
Boys
as a
roadie on their worldwide "20th Anniversary Tour", Jimmy
Buffett and his Coral
Reefer Band, Carl Palmer, Barbra Streisand, U2, Michael Jackson,
Herbie Hancock, Henry Mancini, Steve
Cropper, Wilson Pickett, Luther
Vandross, Leon
Russell , Quincy Jones and Ricky
Skaggs
among many others. His technical career has seen him working
in over 400 studios throughout the United Stated and at the same time he
would teach maintenance and operation for the consoles he would either mend
or install. He currently runs
his dB Engineering as a technical/recording engineer and has been based in
Nashville and his current residence in Florida.ehE hE Writing
his own songs he has recorded several that include "How to Love You More"
and "How Much Is Enough" and he can also be heard on his The Danny Burns
Show aired once a week on 30A Radio. Heard on several recordings he features on albums such
as the only release by the C.Y. Walkin' Band and One Particular Harbour by Jimmy
Buffett
