    Chaplin, Blondie (7th July 1951-Present)

    He is a singer and bass player born Terence William Chaplin in Durban, South Africa.  He was with the band The Flames along with Ricky Fataar and he became a member of the Beach Boys from 1972 until 1974.  He sang lead on several Beach Boys songs including "Sail on Sailor".  In the 1980s he toured with The Band playing guitar and replacing some of Richard Manuel's vocals He has appeared on two Jennifer Warnes albums.  In the 1980s he worked with Richard Danko and The Byrds on their reunion tour.  He plays guitar and sings back-up vocals in session work for The Rolling Stones.  His first solo album was released in May 2006.
