    Chilcott, Bob

He is an English tenor and composer who started in music as a chorister at King's College Cambridge and then as a choral scholar.  He became a member of the King's Singers in 1986 and remained with them until 1997 when he left to concentrate on full time composition.  His compositions have been internationally performed and include Green Songs for the New York Children's Chorus, Organ Dances, which is an organ concerto, was premiered in Pennsylvania, and carols written for the Syracuse Children's Choir with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra.  He was the composer in residence for the "Children in Harmony Choral Festival" at Disneyland, Orlando. One commission was a 30-minute space adventure called News From Space which involved a concert over 2 nights at the Royal Albert Hall, each with a choir of 1400 children from 98 schools.
