    Clifton-Everest, Paula

    Violinist who studied at Detlef Hahn and has been a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra, London Musici, and the Philharmonia Orchestra of London.  She teaches violin at Queenswood.

     

    On 23rd April 2005, the Philharmonia appeared at Royal Festival Hall with pianist Emanuel Ax and soprano Angela Denoke in a concert of Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Piano Concerto No. 5 in E flat, Op. 73” (“Emperor”), Richard Strauss’s Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30, and the “Prelude and Liebestod” from Richard Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde.

     

    Paula and fellow violinist Christos Kokkinos performed with 21 at Queenswood in a program entitled “La Notte d’Amore” on 24th February 2009.
