She is a soprano born in England, now resident
in Scotland, who studied at Cambridge and sang in the Clare
Chapel Choir
before starting out on her professional career. She has performed as a soloist and with many ensemble
and choral societies. Her singing has been heard in
several West End musicals, in performances of classical works such
as Handel's
Messiah, Finzi's In Terra Pax
and Bach's Christmas Oratorio, at the Edinburgh Festival and on
Dutch television with the Brandenburg Consort. Taking
an interest in medieval, renaissance and other early music she has
appeared with ensembles that include the Dunedin Consort, King's
Consort, Martin

, The New London Consort,
Polyphony, The Sixteen and the Tallis Scholars. She has made several recordings that include John Blow's
Venus and Adonis with the New London Consort, Forgotten Provence with the Martin
Best Consort , Benjamin

Te Deum and Henry
Purcell's Incassum Lesbia with The Sixteen, John Danyel Lute
Songs with Dave Miller, Percy Grainger's Jungle Book with Polyphony and Mendelssohn's
