    Crouch, Sandra (1 July 1942 - Present)

    Gospel singer and percussionist who has successfully treaded the line between Christian and secular music, recording as a member of her husband's band, Andrae Crouch and the Disciples, as well as a solo artist on the album American Roots:  Blues.  She has also recorded with James Ingram, The Jackson 5, Elton John , Janis Joplin, Madonna, and Kate Taylor.  A Grammy-winning vocalist and ordained minister, Sandra has been a member of the Salvation Air Force Band and contributed her talents to the albums Handel's Messiah:  A Soulful Celebration and Red, White & Blues, as well as performing at Carnegie Hall.
