He is a guitarist, composer and creative director often
known as "Mike" who spent his childhood in the American Midwest. In 1983 he worked in the studio
with Eddie Jobson on his album Zink and
in 1989 he became a replacement for a time for T.J. Parker in the
group Three
Dog Night
. He has worked with many other
artists during the course of his career as a musician such as Paula
Abdul, Bananarama, Belinda Carlisle, The Four Tops, Sugar Cane
Harris, Stephen
Stills
and Frankie
Valli and spent a season with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. From the mid-1990s he has been composing
for television and movies and has seen his work being used on the TV series
and films that include ABC Afterschool Specials, The Last Real Cowboys,
My Father's Son and Speed of Life. Aside from his compositions for the screen he has
appeared in episodes of E!
A True Hollywood Story and A Haunting in Connecticut. In recent years he has worked on the
2001 album One Night by the actress Susan Anton and he has not long finished
composing for the 2008 film release Kingshighway. He has been the owner and creative
director of Never Never Studios since 1994.
