Actor and
self-described “bari-tenor” from
Pennsylvania who attended Westminster Choir College and studied voice with Dr.
Christopher Arneson, Claudia Catania, and Guy Rothfuss.
He went on to
join The Philadelphia Singers, the chorus-in-residence of The Philadelphia
Orchestra. This has allowed him
to flex his golden pipes in venues such as Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall,
and The Kimmel Center.
In the world
of opera, he has been a member of the chorus in productions of Don Giovanni, La Bella Dormente Nel
Bosco, and Madama Butterfly. He also
appeared with Kristin Chenoweth, Patti LuPone,
and The New York Philharmonic in a production of Leonard Bernstein’s Candide.
His theatrical
roles include Albert Peterson in Bye,
Bye Birdie, Bob Crachit in A Christmas Carol, Frankie Epps in Parade, Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Judas in Godspell, The
Lion in The Wiz, and Sparky in Forever Plaid.
On 22nd
July 2006, he appeared in a performance of Benj Pasek’s and Justin Paul’s Edges, a cabaret-style song-cycle at
The Duplex, in which he portrayed a slacker from the Upper West Side. It was hardly typecasting. In addition to his theatrical endeavours, Adam is also a soloist and section leader
at the Central Presbyterian Church, which is located in Summit, New Jersey.
