     Dorsey, Tony "Bone"

    He is a brass instrumentalist and bandleader who initially trained to be a secondary music teacher.  He was always happier playing music and became a musician who would appear with artists such as Percy Sledge. Al Green, Candi Staton, Clarence Carter and Joe Tex.  He first performed with Paul McCartney & Wings in 1975 and toured and recorded with them right up until they disbanded in 1981.  He joined up with Mary Holmes in the late 1970s and formed Bone Holmes & Friends, which became known for mimicking some of the soul acts of the time.   They became extremely popular and toned down their act dependent on the place they were playing.  They still tour today in States that include Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
