     Eaken, John

    He is a violinist, concertmaster and teacher who is a co-founder of the successful Eaken Piano Trio .  His involvement in the trio entails him having many residencies at schools and universities and extensively touring throughout the United States and Europe.  Outwith the Eaken Trio he has appeared in the Ralph Vaughan Williams concert as a guest artist alongside the other co-founder of the Eaken Piano Trio , Nancy Baun, as well as performing a violin solo with orchestras including the St. Louis Philharmonic and the Harrisburg and Maryland Symphonies.  In education he has coached throughout the United States on chamber music.
