     Edwards, Kenny (10th February 1946-Present)

    He is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, bass and mandolin player, producer, arranger and composer born in Santa Monica, California.  His musical career started in the 1960s and 1965 saw him teaming up with Linda Ronstadt and Bobby Kimmel to form The Stone Poneys.  In 1968 he went out on his own and spent most of his time performing in Los Angeles and it was here he met up with Andrew Gold , Wendy Waldman and Karla Bonoff, with whom he was a co-founder of Bryndle.  After Bryndle had gone their separate ways, he and Andrew Gold met up again when they worked with Linda Ronstadt .  Both stayed with her for several albums and tours and at the same time he began to produce recordings, working on the debut album by Karla Bonoff.  Working with many artists he has been heard performing with Steve Ambrose, Albert Brooks, Peter Cetera, Charlie Daniels Band, Art Garfunkel, Lowell George, Vince Gill, Don Henley, Mac McAnally, Juice Newton, Stevie Nicks, Dolly Parton, Bonnie Riatt, Demis Roussos, Rod Taylor, Jennifer Warnes, Brian Wilson and Warren Zevon.  When the 2000s came he started performing with the reformed Bryndle and also released his debut album in 2002.  Albums he has appeared on during the course of his career include his own Kenny Edwards and I Need Me a Woman With Some Fod Stamps, Love Hurts by Cher, Heartbreak Radio by Rita Coolidge , What's Wrong With This Picture? by Andrew Gold , Portraits by Emmylou Harris, Go For Broke by Iain Matthews, Evergreen Vol. 2 by Linda Ronstadt & The Stone Poneys, Living in the U.S.A. by Linda Ronstadt ,  You're Only Lonely by J. D. Souther and Old Wave by Ringo Starr .   As a composer he has written scores for several TV movies including The Secret Sins of the Father and Wildflower and as a screenwriter he has contributed to TV's Miami Vice and Crime Story.
