She is a
flautist who studied at the Eastman School of Music and the State
University of New York and has performed as an orchestral and chamber
musician and recitalist in Northeast America and given several solo performances during her career to date.
Her work as a
professional flautist has seen her perform with numerous orchestras and
ensembles such as the American Symphony, Borealis Wind Quintet, the Bronx
Arts Ensemble, Claring Chamber Players, Colonial
Symphony, the Lincoln Center
Chamber Music ensembles, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the New Jersey
Symphony, the New York Chamber Symphony, the Philharmonia
Virtuosi and the Stamford Symphony.
She has also
held the position of Principal Flute with the Brooklyn Philharmonic, the
EOS Orchestra, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, Mostly Mozart Festival
Orchestra, the New York Pops, the New York Virtuosi and Queens Symphony.
music for TV, stage and radio she has been a member of the orchestra for “Beauty
and the Beast” on Broadway and played on several soundtracks and
jingles. She has also toured
with Andrea Bocelli.
