He is a bass guitarist and songwriter born in the
United States.He starting
playing the bass guitar in the 1960s and joined The Sidewinders in the
early 1970s.This was the beginning of a recording career that has seen
him appearing on albums by artists that include the Paley Brothers,
Randy Van Warmer, Franke & The Knockouts, Deborah
Harry
, Cyndi Lauper, Iggy Pop and as a touring musician
he has been seen in concert with Yoko Ono, Scandal, Tom Rush and the Patti
Smith Group among many others.He became a member of Blondie
after they had regrouped in the mid '90s, although he had been
appearing on Debbie
Harry's
albums since 1988, and
still appears and records with them on a regular basis. He was inducted as a member of the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 as a member of Blondie
