     Friedenberg, Kenneth

    He is a French horn player and teacher who studied at the New England Conservatory of Music before entering into his career as a professional musician.  He has held many positions with orchestras on a national and international leve and these include Assistant Soloist with the Orquestra Sinfonica de Tenerife and Principal Horn with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, the Israel Sinfonietta and the Shanghai Symphony.  He also held the position of Principal Horn with the Honolulu Symphony in Hawaii from 1999 to 2003.  A sought after musician, he was often seen performing as a guest with orchestras and ensembles that include Columbus Symphony, Marlboro Chamber Players, Pittsburgh Symphony and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra .  Kenneth Friedenberg is also listed as performing at the St. Louis Cathedral on their holiday recording Christmas at the Cathedral and with Rosemay Clooney on her The Best of the Concord Years.  He has also been honoured with an "Outstanding Young Men of America" award.  In the field of musical education he has taught at various establishments as well as being a private tutor.
