    Gabbitas, Christopher (1979-Present)

He was born in Cornwall, England but moved to Kent after his father left the Navy and became a professor.  He started singing as a chorister in Rochester Cathedral and then as a musical scholar in Uppingham School.  He became a choral scholar at St. John's College, Cambridge, singing with the Collegium Regale and occasionally directing the ensemble The Gentlemen of St. John's.  He received a Law Degree and attended Law School in Oxford and qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in 2003.  During this time he sang with the Christ Church Cathedral Choir and while working in London, at the Temple Church.  He became the second baritone of the King's Singers in 2004.
