Flautist and piccolo player from Noordwijkerhout who won the European Chamber Music Competition in 1995 when it was held in Colmar, France. She attended the Sweelinck Conservatory and graduated in 1997.

In 2001, she became a member of the Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Schoenberg Ensemble. Other groups with whom she has performed include the Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the Erard Ensemble, the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, De Tindal Centennial Band, and the Volte Ensemble.

On 1^st July 2001, De Tindal Centennial Band presented a program of blues and jazz compositions by classical composers such as George Antheil, George Gershwin, Astor Piazzolla, Maurice Ravel, and Igor Stravinsky.

The Volte Ensemble appeared at de Noorderkerk te Amsterdam in a recital of Andre Caplet, Gabriel Faure, and Maurice Ravel on 1^st April 2002.

In 2002, the Erard Ensemble released a CD of Caplet’s “Cinq Ballades Francaises”, Faure’s “Pianokwartet nr 1 in c kl.t.op.15”, and Ravel’s “Chansons Madecasses voor sopraan, fluit, cello en piano”.

The Netherlands Radio Symphony Orchestra and Groot Omroepkoor rang in the holidays with Roel van Oosten’s “Quatre Noels Anciens”, Arvo Part’s “Cantus in memory of Benjamin Britten”, Alexandre Tansman’s oratorio, Isaie, le Prophete, and Ralph Vaughan William’s “Fantasia on Christmas Carols” on 21^st December 2002.

In March 2003, the Schoenberg Ensemble interpreted Cynthie van Eijden’s “Hades’ Spel”, Mauricio Kagel’s “Dopplesextett”, Ernst Oosterveld’s “SEQ.”, and Wolfgang Rihm’s “Die Stucke des Sangers”. They offered up a similarly eclectic menu in the winter of 2005-2006 that comprised Eric de Clercq’s “Drooping Wings”, Elmer Schonberger’s “Dovemansoren”, Param Vir’s “Hayagriva”, and Aleksandr Voestin’s “Aan mijn zoon”.

The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and Groot Omroepkoor, under the baton of Valery Gergiev, teamed up for Hector Berlioz’s La Damnation de Faust, opus 24, on 8^th February 2006.

In June 2006, the Schoenberg Ensemble participated in the Holland Festival with “Hommage a Andras Mihaly – 12 Microludes Op. 13”, “In memoriam Gyorgy Ligeti”, “…quasi una fantasia… Op. 27 No. 1”, and “Six Moments musicaux Op. 44” by Gyorgy Kurtag.

The Amsterdam Sinfonietta played a concert of Johannes Brahms’ “Streichquartett c-Moll op. 51, 1”, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Konzert fur Klarinette und Orchester A-Dur KV 622”, Per Norgard’s “Voyage into the Broken Screen (Hommage a Sibelius”, and Sven-David Sanstrom’s “Marche funebre – Be still my child” on 15^th April 2007.

In June 2007, the Schoenberg Ensemble returned to the Holland Festival with a palette of Louis Andriessen’s “Hellende Fanfare” and “Letter from Cathy”, Guus Janssen’s “Concerto for clarinet and ensemble – Stripped version of the Violin Concerto”, Reza Namavar’s “Schreeuwuijl”, Martijn Padding’s “three summer pieces”, Bart de Vrees’ “Ontwar(r)en”, and Robert Zuidam’s “Uwe leipe mastdramnis”. They dove into Franco Donatoni’s “Abyss” at the Musiekgebouw aan het IJ in Amsterdam on 19^th March 2008. On 29^th January 2009, Ingrid was the featured soloist when they concertized in an all-Japanese affair that combined Dai Fujikura’s “Vanishing Point”, Toshio Hosokawa’s “Voyage V”, Jo Kondo’s “Isthmus” and “Syzygia”, and Toru Takemitsu’s “Archipelago S” and “Tree Line”.

The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and Groot Omroepkoor entertained at the Holland Festival with Hendrik Andriessen’s “Ricercare”, Louis Andriessen’s “Nocturnen”, and Igor Stravinsky’s Canticum sacrum ad honorem Sancti Marci nominis and “Greeting Prelude” on 6^th June 2009. On 21^st June 2009, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra was in the pit for the scenic world premiere of Karel Goeyvaerts’ Aquarius.

The Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic performed selections from George Bizet’s L’Arlesienne, Maurice Delage’s “Quatre poemes hindous”, the overture from Mozart’s Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail, and Francis Poulenc’s “Concert voor twee pianos” on 13^th September 2009. On 13^th November 2009, they presented Franz Joseph Haydn’s “Symphony nr. 101 in D” (“The Clock”), Felix Mendelssohn’s “Das Marchen von der schonen Melusine: Overture”, and Ignaz Pleyel’s “Sinfoniea in C B.151” and “Symphonie concertante no.5 in F gr.t. voor flute, clarinet, bassoon, horn and orchestra”.

Ingrid delivered the Dutch premiere of Michel van der Aa’s “Rekindle” at the Toonzetters Festival Amsterdam on 28^th August 2010.

Recordings on which she appears include a DVD of Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann lieder entitled Im wunderschonen Monat Mai, with vocalist Barbara Sukowa, Musikalische Talente Europas, and the boxed set, Tristan Keuris: Complete Works.
