He is a guitarist, percussionist and vocalist born in Portsmouth,
New Hampshire.He was
formerly with The Men and then became an original member of the pop
group The
Association
.He left them to go solo in 1970
and was replaced by Richard
Thompson
.He teamed up with Jules
Alexander
to form Bijou in 1973/4.He returned to The
Association
after they reformed in 1979 and is still performing with them.
