He is a bass player and arranger born in Rome,
Georgia. He
started out arranging for Mylon Fevre & Broken Heart in the late
1960s/early 1970s and became a member of the Atlanta
Rhythm Section
in 1970 and stayed with them until the early
1980s, appearing on 10 or more of their albums and several hit singles. At
the same time in he 1970s he appeared on three of Al Kooper's albums and in
1980 played bass for Kerry Livgren.
As an arranger he could later be heard in 1996 working with Panyard Rhapsody.
