He is an organist, harpsichord player, pianist and conductor who studied organ performance, church music and accompanying at Calvin College in Michigan, the University of Michigan and Westminster Choir College.

Since the early 1990s he has been an organist with the Bach Festival Orchestra and he also is an organist and accompanist for the Bach Choir of Bethlehem in Pennsylvania. Often called upon to give solo performances he has toured many venues in several European countries and the United States under the leadership of many acclaimed conductors such as James Litton, Kurt Masur, Riccardo Muti and Andre Previn.

As a recitalist he accompanied the soprano Rosa Lamoreaux when they presented the Dedicatory Recital for the Avon Old Farms School in Connecticut in 2007. He was also recitalist at the Baroque Banquet at Moravian University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 2009 with the violinist Linda Louise Kistler and the violist Donna Fournier. In 2011 he gave a performance of J.S. Bach’s “Canonic Variations on “Von Himmel Hoch, da Komm Ich Her”.

Also known for his music leadership skills he has held the position of Associate Conductor of the Bach Choir of Bethlehem and Associate Director of Music at Bethlehem’s First Presbyterian Church.

A much in demand studio musician, he has performed on many recordings, often with the American Boychoir, that include The American Boychoir on Tour, By Request, Fat Cats and Mysterious Cows and On Christmas Day by the American Boychoir and Bach: Magnificat/Vivaldi: Gloria, Bach: The Ascension Oratio and Christmas in Bethlehem, Vol. 3 by the Bach Choir of Bethlehem and Durufle: Requiem by VOICES Chorale.
