He is a trumpeter, trombonist, cornetist and teacher
who graduated with a doctorate from New York University with his
dissertation having been written about the bandleader Enoch Light and his
contribution to music. Working
as an ensemble member and session musician he has appeared on albums that
include Close to You by The Ebonys and On the Boardwalk, That
Demon Rag and The Whistler & His Dog by the Paragon Ragtime
Orchestra. He is a Professor
of Music at the County College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey, and is
often heard performing jazz at various venues in the New Jersey area.
