     Grant, Kelvin (9th July 1971-Present)

He is a singer/songwriter and guitarist born in Birmingham, England.   He and his brother Michael became members of the band Musical Youth in 1979, while at Duddeston School.  They shot to fame with the song "Pass the Dutchie" and released several chart singles.  The band initially split up in 1985 and plans to reform in 1993 were put on hold by the death of Patrick Waite.  He has suffered psychological problems in recent years.
