He is a trumpeter, IT manager and teacher who studied
at Wheaton College, the University of Minnesota and the University of
Michigan. He has performed as a member of
the University of Minnesota Trumpet Ensemble, Aspen Jazz Ensemble,
Tim
Zimmerman & The
King's Brass, has featured with the Minnesota
Orchestra
, the Metropolitan Opera, the Minnesota Opera and Symphony of the
Lakes and currently works as a freelance trumpeter in the Twin Cities. In musical education he has taught
at Bethel College, Crown College and Delaware Valley College and has been
Brass Coach for the Minnesota Youth Symphonies since 2006. In his other career he works as an
IT Manager in Plymouth, Minnesota, for a video game development studio.
