    Heichel, Wolfgang (4th November 1950-Present)

    Born in Meissen, he is a German singer who became a member of the German group Dschinghis Kahn (Genghis Khan) in 1979.  The group were established for the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Dschinghis Kahn" coming in 4th.  He was the husband of Henriette Heichel (nee Strobel) until 1986.  The group disbanded around 1985 but they reformed in 2005 to make concert appearances in Moscow and then in Ulan Bator, Mongolia.
