    Heise, Joseph

Keyboardist and vocalist who attended the University of California in Santa Cruz and Georgetown University, where he studied physics and mathematics.

His bass-baritone has graced the Choral Arts Society of Philadelphia, the Concord Chorale, the New Hampshire Master Chorale, the New Hampshire Music Festival Chorus, The Philadelphia Singers, and Princeton Pro-Musica.  He has also soloed at Dublin Community Church in Dublin, New Hampshire.

His other musical roles have included choral director and organist for St. James Roman Catholic Church in Pennington, New Jersey, Hillsborough Reformed Church in Millstone, New Jersey, and choir accompanist and organist at Moultonborough United Methodist Church.  Joe also plays the harpsichord and specializes in Baroque and Renaissance.

Something of a Renaissance man, he has worked in the fields of model building, statistical and decision analysis, and system design and programming for companies such as Intel Corp., Johnson and Higgins, Lockheed Missiles and Space, Mobil Oil, and Stanford Research International.

In 2008, he and two of his colleagues started up New England Environmental Diving Services, LLC, who help to clean up the lakes and rivers of New Hampshire.

He also teaches math at the New Hampshire Technical Institute, housed in Concord, New Hampshire.  In his copious free time, he is an avid chess player and enjoys kayaking with his dog, Kramer.

He resides in Campton, New Hampshire, with his wife, Mary Edith.
