Davis during the period from1970 until his retirement in 1976.He was one of the first bassists of
the fusion era as well as being and influential jazz and soul artist and is
considered one of the three great Motown bassists.He has worked with artists including
Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder and bands such as
Mtume.He still works on solo
material as well as a session artists.
