He is a drummer most noted for his long time
collaboration with the singer Neil Young during the 1970s. During that decade he also worked with
many other acts that include Jimmy Buffett, as part of J.J. Cale's Oklahoma
"A" team, the Doobie Brothers, Emmylou Harris, Waylon Jennings, Kris
Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Leon Russell, Tanya Tucker and Rusty Yorke. In recent times he has got back
together with Neil Young and Spooner Oldham and Ben Keith to record a new
album. Some of the albums he
