    Hume, Alastair

    He is a countertenor who studied and received a degree in law at King's College Cambridge.  He was a founder member of the King's Singers who were formed in 1965 and he remained with them for 23 years until 1993, giving several thousand performances as well as appearing with internationally renowned orchestras and artists.   In 1995 he opened the City of London Festival.
