the London Chamber Orchestra, the London Philharmonic, the Philharmonia, and the World Orchestra for Peace.
From 1991 to
1997, he served as the music director for the Swedish Chamber Winds.

In 2001, he
became the artistic director for the Danish Chamber Players, a post he held
for two years.
He performed a
portion of Tomaso Albinoni’s
“Concerto in D minor” at the wedding of the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince
of Wales in 2005.

participated in The International Master Class for English horn and oboe at
the University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic. He is also an adjudicator at the
triennial International Oboe Competition, which is held in Tokyo, Japan.
Gordon is also
on the faculties of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal
Academy of Music.
