Cellist who has been a member of the Avanti Players
and Lyric Trio, in concert with the South Bay Chamber Music Society,
Inc. On 16th January
1976, the Avanti Players performed Ludwig van Beethoven's "Serenade
in D major, Op. 8", Benjamin Britten's "Fantasy Quartet
for Oboe, Violin, Viola, and Cello, Op. 2", Jean Francaix's "String
Trio", and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Quartet in F major
for Oboe and Strings, K. 370".
On 8th October of the same year, the Lyric Trio performed
P.H. Earlbach's "Sonata in E minor", Franz Joseph Haydn's
"Trio in G Major", Jacques Ibert's "Ent'racte",
Vincent Persichetti's "Serenade No. 10", Ottorino
Respighi's "Siciliana", and Heitor Villa-Lobos's "Assobio
a Jato (The Jet Whistle)".
She appears along with Lyric Trio flautist Susan Greenberg on
Crystal Records S703 as a member of the Los Angeles Baroque Players,
performing Johann Sebastian Bach's "Trio Sonata in F",
Johann Fasch's "Trio Sonata in G", Willem de Fesch's
"Trio Sonata IV in G minor" and Karl Stamitz's "Trio
Sonata in F". Selene has
also had some success as a session musician, recording with the likes of
Stanley Clarke, Neil Diamond, and George Duke, and performed on the
soundtracks of The Amityville Horror
(1979), The Enforcer, and Nunzio.
