He is a counter-tenor who became a chorister in
Winchester Cathedral Choir when he was 10 and at 13 he entered WinchesterCollege.He was a choral scholar at NewCollege, Oxford
for three years and also received a geography degree. In 1984 he became a co-founder of the
ensemble Oxford Camerata in 1990 he joined the King's
Singers who he is still a member of. He has performed with
many artists and orchestras during his career including the Boston
Pops Orchestra,
the Gabrieli Consort, L'Arpegiattia, New College Choir Oxford, Oxford Camerata and Richard Stoltzman.
