    Jackson, Carlton

    Banjo player who has worked with Alabama, Glen Campbell, Martin & Finley, and Marty Stuart.

     

    In 1983, he went on a tour with Alabama that included stops at The Music Mill in Nashville, Tennessee, and The Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas.  Some of these tracks—“I’m Not That Way Anymore”, “Lovin’ Man”, “Rock on the Bayou”, “(There’s a) Fire in the Night” and “When We Make Love—were recorded live.

     

    Other recordings on which he appears include:  Basic, Bloodline, Live at the Royal Festival Hall, Old Home Town and Southern Nights by Glen Campbell; Busy Bee Café by Marty Stuart; Dazzle ‘em with Footwork by Martin & Finley; and, Roll On by Alabama.
