Concertmaster
and violinist who worked with Paul Sabu on his
own album Sabu
as well as the one he produced for Ann-Margret, titled…well, Ann-Margret. It was a disco affair released in
1980 and Paul lovingly dubbed his six-musician string ensemble “Davida’s Gang”. He also lovingly dubbed them over and
over in the production booth, creating a fuller sound. Davida
also lent her violin-playing skills to Celine Dion’s self-titled
debut, Smokey Robinson’s Double
Good Everything, Frank Sinatra’s Trilogy, and The Legacy
of Phyllis Hyman.
