She is a singer and actress who took her musical studies
first at San Antonio’s Trinity University and then at the University of
Houston.
Entering into her musical and acting career she
relocated to New York and performed roles in several Off Broadway
productions. These include Forgotten
Broadway, Murdered by the Mob and Wwow Radio Mystery Hour. Not restricting herself to performing in the New York
area, she appeared in productions stages in several other areas including A
Christmas Carol, David Dances and Zorro in Florida. She has performed in Houdini at the
Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut.
She re-settled in Philadelphia and continued her stage
and musical work, appearing in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No
Good, Very Bad Day at the Philadelphia Children’s Theatre, Big
River, Footloose, High School Musical and Man of La Mancha at
Norristown’s Centre Theater, Shakesploitation and Shakesploitation
II at the Iron Age Theatre for the Philly Fringe, Funny Girl, High
School Musical and Sound of Music with Bucks County Playhouse, The
Domestication of Women with Strawflower Productions and Last Rites
with Green Light Theatrical Production .
Outside of musical theatre she has also performed with
Cantores, is a member of the Philadelphia’s chorus-in-residence The
Philadelphia Singers and has sung with The Masterworks Chorale as a guest
soloist. Making her way into
movies she has had a role in the independent movie Frayed.
In 2010 she presented her own 60 minute Krissy in
Concert at the Centre Theater where she performed a combination of classical
and theatre music.
