     Juber, Laurence (12th November 1952-Present)

He is a vocalist, composer and guitar virtuoso born in Stepney, East London, England, and he was asked to become a member of Paul McCartney & Wings in 1978 while he was a young musician in London.    He left Wings when they disbanded in 1981 and went on to work with artists that include Al Stewart and release the solo albums Naked Solos, I've Got the World on Six Strings and LJ Plays the Beatles.  On television he was a studio musician for the shows Happy Days and Family Ties among others and wrote the soundtrack for the 1988 World Gone Wild.   He has collaborated with his wife, Hope, and his father-in-law Sherwood Schwartz, on Gilligan's Island: The Musical.  Receiving many accolades he has won the award for No. 1 Fingerstyle Guitarist, his solo arrangement of the "Pink Panther Theme" features on the Grammy winning Henry Mancini-Pink Guitar, and his name is now recognised for a series of custom edition Martin guitars and Juber's Signature guitar strings sold by GHS Strings.
