     Kamen, Chester

He is a guitarist and songwriter who was with the band Numbers in the early to mid 1980s when he was discovered by Roxy Music's Bryan Ferry, who produced their song "Pick Up in a Nightclub".  Becoming a member of Roxy Music he recorded with them from 1985 and also appeared with them on Live Aid and would stay with Bryan Ferry for his 1989 and 1994 tours as well as co-produce and co-write songs for him such as "Seven Deadly Sins".  Much in demand as a session musician he has appeared on several hit songs such as "Angels" and "Let Me Entertain You" by Robbie Williams, "Imagination" by Belouis Some, "Like a Prayer" by Madonna, and "Rise" by Gabrielle.  He has also worked with Duran Duran, David Gilmour, Natalie Imbruglia, Massive Attack, Kirsty McColl, Jimmy Nail, Seal, Terence Trent D'Arby and Roger Waters to name a few.  Albums he has appeared on are Some People by Belouis Some, Like a Prayer by Madonna, Titanic Days by Kirsty McColl, Boys and Girls, Bete Noire and Mamouna by Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music, The Ego Has Landed and Life Thru a Lens by Robbie Wiliams, Protection/No Protection by Massive Attack, Reload by Tom Jones, Rise by Gabrielle, Seal and Human Being by Seal and the soundtrack of Johnny English.  His brother Nick Kamen is a singer who released "Loving You Is Sweeter Than Ever" and caused a storm as the guy who stripped his clothes off down to his underwear in a 1980s Levis commercial.
