     Kaufmann, Eduard

    He is an organist who has performed with ensembles such as the Camerata Bern and the Lucerne Festival Strings.  He has worked with many artists in the field of classical music such as the violinists Zino Francescatti and Regis Pasquier, the oboist Heinz Holliger and the conductor Rudolf Baumgartner.  Appearing on several CDs he can be heard on Adagio, Bach: Brandenburg Concertos 1-4, A Baroque Weekend and Rameau: Pieces de Clavecin en Concerts among others.  In the movies his performance of “Adagio” was heard on the 1994 Hits.
