     King, Jack

    He is a drummer and songwriter who was a member of the Steve Miller Band after he had replaced Tim Davis and appeared on the albums Recall the BeginningA Journey From Eden and Rock Love.  He wrote several of the songs that appeared on albums such as "What is Bandersnatch", "Woodrose Syrup" and "Pulpit Huff".  He left the band in 1973 to join the line-up of Joker that was formed by David Denny who had also been with Steve Miller, but he left them after a short while.   Having worked with Frumious Bandersnatch for many, many years as well as the group Bonaroo II headed by the ex-Steve Miller Band member, Bobby Winkelman.  He is currently playing with a band called The All Night Flight that has several members of the original band.
