    King, Warren

Guitarist and songwriter who was a member of Diamond Reo before co-founding The Silencers with Reo vocalist Frank Czuri.  Diamond Reo grazed the Top 100 with their rendition of "Ain't That Peculiar", originally recorded by Marvin Gaye, and appeared on American Bandstand.  The Silencers released a pair of albums, 1980's Rock 'n' Roll Enforcers, and 1981's Romantic.  King quit the band in 1984.  He spent some time in between bands supporting fellow Diamond Reo guitarist Norm Nardini, as part of Norm Nardini and the East Side Tigers.  He has since formed Warren King and the Lost Dogs, and as recently as 2007 re-united with Frank Czuri for the 18th anniversary of Moondog's in Blawnox, Pennsylvania.
