Guitarist and
violist who was very busy in the late ‘70s on albums such as Belle de Jour by Saint Tropez, Modern Man by Stanley Clarke, Patrice by Patrice Rushen, and Sunshine
Bombers by Sunset Bombers, all released in 1978. In 1979, he appeared on Walter
Murphy’s Discosymphony,
Frank Sinatra’s Trilogy,
and the soundtrack of The Amityville
Horror. He was also a
member of the strings section on The Gatlin Brothers’ 1998 album, Oh!
Brother. Mark is the
president of the Nevada chapter of the American String Teachers
Association.
