He is a drummer and percussionist
born in Switzerland
and moved to the United States
in 1995.He started playing drums
at age 13 and attended the Dante Agostini Drum
School Paris in Olten,
Switzerland.He became a drummer in the Swiss
Youth Jazz Orchestra and in 1995 he won two scholarships from Berklee College
of Music.After these studies
he settled in New York City and
he has performed with artists in a wide range of music including Yo-Yo Ma, Nadja
Salerno-Sonnenberg, Lauryn Hill, Donny McCaslin and Frank London. The film scores he has work
on include Unholy, Bad Behavior
and Sleight of Hand, which won
the Best Score 2004 at the NYU First Run Festival.
