    Loncina, Dragan (7th February 1985-Present)

    He is a double bass player born in Osijek, Croatia, who has performed with several different orchestras during his career.

     

    He attended the Zkola za Musicke Talente in Caprija, Serbia and undertook his further education in music at the Akademija za Glasbo inn Ljubljana, Slovenia.

     

    He was a member of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks in the mid-2000s and in 2006 he was the soloist with the Solvenian Radio Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Giovanni Bottesini’s Konzert for Double Bass and Orchestra No. 2.

     

    January 2007 saw him joining the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and in July 2008 he accepted the tutti Double Bass position with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra

     

    In September 2012 he performed as a member of The Double Bass Ensemble at the 47. Festival in Negotin, Serbia.
