     Lower, Robert

    He is a bass singer who became a member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus more than three decades ago under the leadership of Robert Shaw.  He has since performed with the offshoot ensemble, the Robert Shaw Chamber Singers, and is a member of the Atlanta Singers, which was co-founded by Cheryl Bray Lower. Appearing on several recordings he can be heard on American Sampler by the Atlanta Singers, Motets/Gregorian Motets/Song by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chamber Chorus, A Capella Music for Choir by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Songs of Angels: Christmas Hymns & Carols by the Robert Shaw Chamber Singers.
